RE-2 Privacy Website Information

Fremont RE-2 School District Technology Department considers the privacy, safety and security of our staff and students to be one of our most important responsibilities. Keeping children safe and secure while online includes keeping their data private. Fremont RE-2 has developed processes to ensure the apps and software used in classrooms are appropriate for instruction use, follows COPPA compliance and has measures in place to protect personally identifiable information.

Commonly used web applications submitted by teachers are evaluated to ensure that privacy standards are met. The list of approved apps, which includes applications for K-12 and those appropriate for only grades 9 - 12, is posted on the RE-2 district website.
