My name is Mrs. Martinez, I am one of the Preschool teachers at Penrose. I have been at Penrose for 2 years. I enjoy being part of the Penrose team and the Penrose community. I love working with the " Little Explorers ," and their families.

I have been in the field of Early Childhood for 37 years, I strive to teach children the importance of caring for one another, kindness, acceptance, and loving one's self.

I'm from Phoenix Arizona and have been in Colorado for 15 years, I currently live in Florence.

I have been married for 29 years to Richard. I have 1 daughter, Nathalie, who lives in Fort Collins. My dog, Sadie and cat, Lily are very special to me.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy gardening and shopping for antiques in downtown Florence.
