Promethean Panel for Secondary Teachers - May 31st, 8:00 - 4:00

Mandatory for Activpanel current or soon-to-be users

This class is designed to help teachers get up and running using their Activpanel and ClassFlow in their classroom. In this course we will cover general set up, how to create and find lessons, and how to use Classflow with students. After this course you will have everything set up and ready to use your Activpanel in your classroom. The class will be held at the T&I building on Wednesday, May 31st from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Lunch is on your own. This class is mandatory for those who have or will have access to a Board 2017-2018 SY. ClassFlow for Elementary Teachers - June 1st, 8:00 - 4:00

Transitioning from Activinspire to ClassFlow Desktop

This course is designed to help teachers transition from the old Activinspire software to the new ClassFlow desktop software. As you might know Promethean has transitioned away from Promethean Planet and users are now using ClassFlow. This course will guide you through the changes and keep you up to speed with all of the latest features that Promethean has to offer. After completing this course you will have everything you need to take full advantage of the Promethean device in your classroom. The class will be held at the T&I building on Thursday, June 1st from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Lunch is on your own. CPR and 1st Aid Certification - June 2nd, 8:00 - 12:30

CPR certification - 8:00 - 10:00 am

1st Aid certification - 10:30 - 12:30

G Suite for Education - June 5th, 8:00 - 4:00 This course will help you become a better user of all of the free apps and programs that Google has to offer educators. This includes Google classroom, docs, sheets, slides, calendar, drive, and many more!  During this class you will learn ways to integrate these apps into your classroom and organize all of your teaching files.  The class will be held at the T&I building on Monday, June 5th from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Lunch is on your own. iClassroom - June 6th, 8:00 - 4:00 Are you using iPads in your classroom? Would you like to integrate them more into your lessons? Are you looking for new apps to use in your classroom? If so then this is the class for you. We will cover Apple classroom, apps, and how to keep ipads new and engaging. Worksheets are a thing of the past so lets see how you can use iPads as a tool in your classroom. The class will be held at the T&I building on Tuesday, June 6th from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Lunch is on your own. PBL Planning and Integration across the Curricula - June 7th, 8:00 - 4:00

Need support in planning for and integrating PBL in your own classroom and across your building? Participants will walk away with practical application methods for student choice, personal responsibility, focus on process as well as product, assessment, and managing projects. Laptop may be helpful but is not a necessity. The class will be held at the T&I building on Tuesday, June 7th from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Lunch is on your own. S.T.E.A.M. - June 8th, 8:00 - 4:00

Are you wanting to add more fun hands on science, math, and art into your classroom using technology?  If so, this is the class for you!  We will be learning some new apps and websites that will engage students and bring STEAM to life in your classroom. This year’s STEAM class will feature 3d printing, makerspace activities, green screen videos, and much more!  You will need an iPad and laptop and some energy for this class.  The class will be held at the T&I building on Thursday, June 8th from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Lunch is on your own.
